Privacy policy
We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Any information we may ask you to provide that can identify you when using TXP will only be used in accordance with the terms outlined here. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page without notification. You should check this page periodically to ensure you are aware of any such changes, and that you agree with them.
What data we collect
You may choose to supply the following information during correspondence:
- your name
- your website location
- you email address
We may additionally collect the following information as you browse the site:
- IP (Internet Protocol) address
- Last page visited
What we do with the information
General contact information: If you supply any contact details via TXP or in correspondence with the publisher via third party applications and services, the information may be used to contact you with regard to the enquiry. Your contact information will not be stored in any database, nor be passed to any third party, nor be used by us for any purpose other than to communicate with you, if needed, regarding the initial enquiry.
IP address: For the sole purpose of our ad rotation technology, ensuring you get equal exposure to all our advertisers in succession, we record a single instance of your IP address against the last page you visited containing advertising. This is a transient record; when you visit another page, the record is overwritten with the new location. Thus only one record is ever kept comprising your IP address and last page view. Without this transient record, visitors would see the same ad campaign on every page, and that wouldn’t be good for anybody. This data will never be disclosed to any third party.
How we use cookies
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. We use traffic log cookies to identify which TXP pages you visit. This enables us to analyse web traffic, with the aim to improve TXP content against user interests. We only use this information for analysis reasons only and then it’s removed.
Links to other websites
Our website will occasionally link to other websites of interest. You understand we have no control over any external content, and cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information you may choose to provide at those linked sites, nor are we liable for any breach of your privacy from doing so. You should exercise caution and look at the applicable privacy statements of any external sites you visit.
In general…
We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties—even if you ask us to—unless absolutely required by law to do so.
