Team openings

TXP Magazine is not an employer. It’s run by volunteers who collaborate for the simple reason of knowing they’re creating a great resource for others to enjoy.

We routinely need people to help launch and maintain new initiatives. Roles are intended to be as manageable and pleasant as possible. We update this page when new opportunities open up.

Content Curator

Ooo, that’s a sassy title, eh? This is actually a fun job if you like to read and share what you find. It requires at least one hour per month of your time.

We’re starting a new content stream in the magazine. Every couple of weeks we’ll post a list of new and interesting articles from around the web that we think readers would enjoy or benefit from.

The editorial team will help source list items, but the curator will draft and format the summary, making sure it’s published on time.

Site Watch column editor (or two)

We’re looking for one or two people to own the Site Watch column. This is an important team role that ties magazine editorial efforts with the Textpattern websites Exhibit (temporarily offline). This person will research and find top-class websites built with Textpattern and write about them, bringing attention to their quality and creators. Your work will be edited before being published.

We expect a certain amount of commitment in these roles. This means delivering on your tasks for at least six months, and participating in team discussion when it’s initiated by the Editor in Chief. Basic stuff. If you can handle that, then give the Editor a shout.
