First of all, I’d like to confirm that handsome devil over there is really me. I’d also like to clarify that I don’t currently have purple hair. I do, on occasion, have deep and meaningful conversations with sock puppets, however.
My role within the TXP stable is two-fold: if I was giving myself a job title for a LinkedIn profile to impress people it would be Copy Editor. From a TXP content angle, I’m the Textpattern-equivalent of a wikignome – that is, I read word-based things and fix any broken parts. This is done without fanfare because I’m not a fanfare kinda guy. Broken parts might be words lost in translation, typos or other such small annoyances to people like me with an OCD-esque brain.
Looking back into the annals of history, I got started in CMS tomfoolery with Cafelog and b2evolution before finally settling down with Textpattern 4.0.3 in the heady, halcyon days of 2005. Oh, the memories.
