Scottish designer Colin McKinney just finished his work on a portfolio site for English portrait artist Sue Rubira.

The complete site is an eyecatcher for lovers of the Lightbox 2.0 gallery javascript by Lokesh Dhakar.

With Lightbox 2.0 you can build beautiful thumbnail galleries. Talented programmer Bastian Sackermann was so kind to create the bas_lightbox plugin for TXP.

The plugin uses/supports:

• Lightbox 2.0
• Custom-Field Support
• You can use it in pages and forms, using images from img cat with same name like actual section or category
• Automatic import of all images and files needed to run Lightbox JS
• styling by CSS
• Localisation in German, English, Dutch, Portuguese

Lightbox is designers pet: You don´t have to worry about image/thumbnail sizes, you don´t have to design an extra sheet for the original images and it looks just sooo smart and Webby 2.0 :)!
Nevertheless Lightbox does not save the world.
