
TXP has been a bit like Sleeping Beauty in the past months. As spring nears all of a sudden TXP wakes up and prepares for blossoming.

Last night Mary did a great job on restructuring the TXP forum. She added categories and and a couple of subforums. Alltogether big improvements for getting fast access to specific informations. A big step towards a better community communication is the forumsection Organizing Community Contributions. Who likes to start a project can publish it here and seek for members to join. Freshest project is TXP Subway Map. Check it out.
Matthew aka ma_smith started collecting informations on a better image handling for a future TXP version. He still seeks sceenshots of other CMSs to compare and learn from. Find more infos on his forum thread.
Soon TXP forum post count will reach 100.000. A great cause make the event fun for the community says Bert aka hcgtv. TXP Mag joined and tries to raise along with Bert some money for a lavish prize like a TXP t-shirt :).
Textpattern Template competitions deadline ended Feb, 28th. 43 great submissions went in and over 10.000 Unique Visitors were counted. Now we wait for the judges to select the most appealing. Btw John Oxton was so kind to join the jury.
TXP Blogmap is running well. We are very proud having exceeded more than 50 registrations of really fine blogs within a week. I am especially thankful for mourners help with our russian txp companions.
Last but not least, TXP Mag will soon move over to Textdrive. Ralph von der Heyden aka larf was so kind to register the domain txpmag.com and offered serverspace on his textdrive VC4 account. A big Thank You Ralph :) – You made my day.
