If you’re like me, you have a lot to learn about how color works. You may have lusted after a huge Pantone swatch book, or thought about learning more about color in general, not trusting your intuition to simply carry you through your burgeoning design career.

• nataliejost.com/color (Natalie has a great series of articles on color schemes and the nature of color in general, you could call her a color freak)
• designmeltdown.com (if you haven’t already popped this site into your RSS feed, you probably should now. This site is full of great examples of how web designers utilize all kinds of colors and combinations to convey a central idea.)

Then, for the fun of it (yes, we told you we like to have fun), you should check out this color illusion . I promise you, it will weird you out.
